Parents/guardians must notify the Ministry of Education (MEQ) and the school board of their intention to Homeschool by July 1st every school year. Parents who choose to withdraw from a school during the school year to homeschool their child must notify the school of their departure and register with MEQ and the school board as a Homeschooler within 10 days of withdrawing from the school.
