Parents/guardians must notify the Ministry of Education (MEQ) of their intention to Homeschool by July 1st every school year. Parents who choose to withdraw from a school during the school year to homeschool their child must notify the school of their departure and register with MEQ as a Homeschooler within 10 days of withdrawing. Parents are welcome to continue sending a copy of their Notice of Intent to homeschooling@lbpearson.ca, however are no longer obligated to do so.
